Concrete actions on energy, materials, and resilience.

Energy and Efficiency

The new machinery is connected to the solar power system and helps reduce energy consumption in the production processes.

GHG emissions

Emissions have remained largely stable despite the increase in production. More efficient electric furnaces are expected to be introduced in 2026.

Materials and Life Cycle

An environmental impact analysis of the main production processes has been completed, with a focus on the products’ life cycle.

Waste management

Recycling includes paper, cardboard, plastic, PET, wood, ferrous metals, aluminum, oil, and other industrial materials.

Climate risks

The 2024 flooding in Airolo led to strengthened measures for prevention, operational resilience, and business continuity.

Suppliers

The supply chain is managed through audits, performance evaluations, and a focus on the quality of materials, particularly European steel and semi-finished products.

05 / Land, Biodiversity, and Emissions

An impact that must be measured, reduced, and managed over time.
