Founded by Ambrogio Tenconi in 1871, Tenconi SA employs about 120 people at its two sites in Airolo and Cadenazzo (Canton Ticino - Switzerland).
Tenconi SA has been active since the beginning in the railway sector (infrastructure and rolling stock) with consultancy and more than 2,000 products supplied, thanks to a large network of agents, to over 200 clients in Switzerland and in 38 other countries spread over 5 continents.
Furthermore, the targeted diversification of the last decades has favored growth in the sectors of metalworking (outside the railway), aluminum processing, the energy sector and civil engineering.
Tenconi SA holds ISO 9001 and 14001 certifications and the skills and certifications for mechanical processing, metal plastification, and welding of steel and aluminum.
Tenconi SA belongs in its entirety to the heirs of the founder Ambrogio Tenconi.
