Renewal of portals for the new connection to the Vezia portal

Scope of supply: New metalwork for total renovation of portals.

Following detailed surveys of the state of the current structures of the Manno substation, AIL decided to proceed with the total renewal of the portals and their foundations and the total replacement of the existing conductors and insulating chains, including the insulators of the entire part of the substation it owns.

The project includes the construction of 13 uprights divided into 7 types, and 12 types of connecting crossbeams. The subject of the contract is the supply of steel uprights, including hot-dip galvanisation.

The mullions are characterised by two IPE profiles positioned at A, with horizontal connection profiles and plates at the base and ridge.

The beams are profiles assembled with two UNPs connected together by plates (rails).
